Fang Jiefu (1928 - 1999)
A famous contemporary painter of the Shanghai School. A student of the contemporary master Jiang Hanting (1904一1963). His paintings have been widely exhibited in China and overseas. He is famous in painting flowers and birds.

男，漢族，江蘇句容人。1928年生。自幼喜愛丹青。1946年師從江寒汀學畫，為入室弟子。擅花鳥，所作構圖嚴謹，色彩鮮明，耽於寫實，富有時代氣息。作品多次在國內外展出并在報刊上發表。曾任中國美術家協會上海分會會員，上海美術教育研究會理事，上海海墨畫社副社長，上海師範專科學校講師。
